On the occasion of International Nurses Day, Himalaya Baby Care, India’s leading herbal baby care brand from Himalaya Drug Company, announced the launch of ‘Thank a Nurse, Our Everyday Hero’.
The main objective of this programme is to felicitate the nurses for their role in setting of and executing the nursing care with compassion and care.
In association with leading maternity hospitals such as Fortis Hospitals, Cradle, Cloud Nine and Vaydehi in Bangalore, Himalaya will ask mothers and their families from each hospital to share testimonials on nurse who has taken care of them during their stay. The nurse who receives the maximum number of positive testimonials will be chosen and will be awarded every month. At the end of each year, the nurse with maximum positive testimonials will be recognized and awarded from each maternity hospital. Furthermore, the nurse who gets the highest number of positive testimonials from all her patients will ultimately be awarded the ‘The Best Nurse of the City’.
