Saksham conducts National Eye Donation Public Awareness Fortnight program every year, the main objective of which is to increase awareness about the importance of eye donation and its benefits.

With the aim of training and equipping its employees Saksham successfully organized “Prant Karyakarta Prashikshan Varg””. The chief guest in this program was Dr. J.S. Tityal, Dr. R.P. Head of the Center for Optical Sciences and Research Dean, AIIMS along with other special guests were present.
Keynote Speaker Dr. Dalal Singh Panwar, Dr. Ashmar Kumar May, and Chief Guest Dr. J.S.Tityal presented his views on Eye Donation Awareness. In his inspiring address, Dr. J.S. Titiyal on the importance of eye donation and cornea transplant emphasizing that this is an important step in giving the gift of sight to blind people. He also shared that despite advancements in medical science, the wait for cornea transplants. There is still a huge gap between the number of people doing it and the available donors.
He also emphasized on awareness and active participation in eye donation programs. Further Dr. Titiyal also highlighted his ongoing efforts with the Ministry of Education to include organ donation in the school curriculum.
The event was conducted in sessions and the second session was moderated by Amod Kumar, in which Dr.Amit Kumar talked on Role & efficiency of Saksham, UDID/Govt.schemes by Gaurav Kumar, Economic Plan by Tribhuvan Rawat and the Model Volunteer session by Vishal.
Titiyal also received honored during the National Eye Donation Awareness Fortnight.
About Fortnight Awareness program by Saksham:

*Dissemination of information and promotional material about the importance of eye donation and its benefits.

*Awareness campaign on social media platforms.
*Free eye health checkup and consultation facility
