On the issue of continuously assaulting on doctors, Resident Doctor Association of AIIMS wrote a letter to Union Health Minister J.P.Nadda .
The association, which has written to Mr Nadda about the recent attack on duty doctors in Department of Emergency PGIMER, Chandigarh
RDA, AIIMS condemn attack on doctors and extending support to the strike by PGIMER doctors.
The letter describes the demands to strengthening of security with police post and provide security in EMOPD, triage systems to classify patients based on sickness levels, alternate arrangements for report collation, limiting the maximum number of patients admitted in emergency etc.
We worshiping our profession and believe in humanity but as today’s scenario we are facing worst situation as violence against doctors increased and this cannot tolerate said Dr.Vijay Gurjar, President RDA,AIIMS.
Dr.Gurjar further said through this letter we are raising our problem and made a request to Hon’ble Minister to take a necessary action against culprits.
