The Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association on Tuesday observed a nationwide protest over yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s remarks about allopathic doctors and modern medicine.
Last week, Forda India had informed that they would go for a nationwide black day protest against Yoga Guru Ramdev’s statements against Corona warriors and modern medicine. However, during protest, the medical services will not hamper and patients will not face any kind of inconvenience.
The association has also demanded an unconditional public apology from Patanjali chief Baba Ramdev or action against him under the Epidemic Diseases Act.
Some doctors marked their protest, while on duty, with messages written on their PPE kits.
Our protest is to demand strict action against Ramdev. “Thousand doctors died even after the vaccine, could not save them” such statement from Ramdev had affected the morale of doctors, who are fighting day in and day out to save millions of lives. There is anger among the doctors due to such a statement. Due to which we are demanding action against them and are celebrating Black Day said Dr.Sunil Arora General Secretary FORDA India.
