The actress known for her energetic and bold appearance recently came in the headlines again after making a revelation that shocked and even inspired people. Priyanka recently took to twitter to join hands with an initiative that helps with Asthama patients. The Breath Free campaign was started by the actress which helps promote inhalers for Asthama patients over the use of tablets. In the post, Priyanka revealed that she was suffering from the condition and stated that inhalers have helped her well in combating with the illness. He tweet read, “Those who know me well know that I’m an asthmatic. I mean, what’s to hide? I knew that I had to control my asthma before it controlled me. As long as I’ve got my inhaler, asthma can’t stop me from achieving my goals & living a #BerokZindagi.” Later, the account of the campaign thanked Priyanka for supporting the initiative and sharing her story with the world.
On the work front, Priyanka will next be seen in The Sky Is Pink which is being directed by Shonali Bose. It is based on the real life story of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary who was detected with pulmonary fibrosis. The film also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in leading roles.
