The Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA), will go for a Peaceful protest on May 26 at Lady Hardinge Medical College for their demands regarding salaries and allowances.
FORDA which is an organisation of 15,000 resident doctors across 41 government hospitals in the capital, have now written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to revise the recommendations which they termed were “particularly discriminating to doctors”.
Despite writing to the PMO, Health Minister and other higher authorities, the response is disheartening. In last few days we have got tremendous support from all over the country said Dr. Pankaj Solanki, President for FORDA.
If the government and it’s arrogant beaurocrats doesn’t revert back the changes, the country may go on indefinite strike from 1st June onwards.
While speaking with Health Live Dr.Ravinder, General Secretary, FORDA said “FORDA has called for a peaceful strike on 26th May 2016 regarding poor 7th CPC recommendations and targeting the doctors .
There will be mass participation of resident doctors from all government hospitals of Delhi Dr.Ravinder added.
