Noida’s first heart transplant happening between Fortis Hospital, Noida and Fortis Escorts Hospital, Okhla. A green corridor is organising from FEHi to FHN.
55 year old male was brought as a RTA case to FHN on 1st Nov. He was evaluated by the ER and Neuro surgeons and was found to be brain dead.
The FHN team and doctors proposed for organ donation to the family and post counselling the family agreed.
FHN will be retaining the liver and one kidney. The heart has been allocated to FEHI, Okhla.
