Dr.Kunal a junior resident doctor from All India Institute of Medical Sciences was found dead in his hostel room here on Thursday, hospital authorities have said.
According to the officials, the Dr.Kunal was also pursuing his post graduation in medicine department at AIIMS.
He belongs to Bihar and currently resides at Masjid Moth hostel in Delhi, adjacent to AIIMS premises.
“We received the information about the incident around 11 a.m today that a junior resident who was also pursuing his Post graduations in medicine has been found dead. To know the exact cause of his death his body has been sent to the forensic department for post mortem,” a senior official said.
He denied to either name the deceased or give any further information on the subject until the post mortem reports come out.
Earlier in 2014,a 20-year-old nursing student, depressed over her relations with the hostel superintendent and other staff at the AIIMS, committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her hostel room at the institute.
