Health Minister Satyendra Jain scolded Medical Superintendent over health facility crises at FORDA convention.
Health Minister of Delhi discussed different problems and issues of resident doctors and on the issue of shortage of nurses staff , the problem raised by a resident doctor he scolded Dr. Y.K. Sarin, MS of Loknayak Hospital and warn to report on the same by Monday only.
Jain was present at the national convention of resident doctors organized by the Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) in Delhi on Sunday at Maulana Azad Medical College.
On the matter of extension of resident doctors he asked to the doctors putting and sharing their suggestions.
On the occasion Minister said that SRship will be incentive based in coming years.
While addressing the doctors Jain said “Strike is not the solution of any problem. If doctors go for strike than their graph will go downwards , doctors are the life savers and known as next to God”
On talking about addition of new 10,000 beds to the hospitals which has been announced by him earlier on that he further added “We will transform the healthcare of Delhi by March 2017 and add another 10,000 beds for the hospitals with free insurance services to masses of Delhi”.
Further on the seats of he said “We will soon increase the seats of MDs and MBBS in which 50% would be reserved for doctors who pass out from Delhi.
On the working system of hospitals he said; the seniors are not ready to accept the new changes in the medical sectors promoted by Delhi government. Peripheral hospitals of Delhi are worked as referral centers.
At the event representatives from different state, resident doctors share their views and Minister make promise to the doctors to sort out each and every problem.
At the convention Dr.Rakesh Gupta, President –Elect of DMA, Dr. Balvinder, Past President FORDA, Dr.Vinod Gautam, Patron, Dr.Sanjeev Tomar, Founder President were also present. The event was also marked by other governing council members Dr. Yogendra Deswal,Dr. Vishwa P.Jha, Dr. Ashish Tomar,Dr. S.K. Kakkaraan, Dr. Dheeraj N. Agarwal.
