Capital of country Delhi, will soon get a AIIMS like Ayurveda hospital as said by Union AYUSH minister Shripad Yesso Naik.
The hospitals will be opened in the time period of next three months with exclusively offering Ayush treatments like Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy in Delhi as Union Minister of State for AYUSH Shripad Naik said.
The AYUSH Ministry is planning to set up similar hospitals in every state, Naik said yesterday after inaugurating a Homeopathy Centre of Excellence at neighbouring Palghar district.
The World Health Organization has recognised the AYUSH treatment and is carrying out research on its application in cancer and public health, he said.
On speaking about further planning Minister said our ministry was making efforts to make available doctors who provide AYUSH treatment in all the Primary Health Centres (PHCs) of the country, besides trying to set up an independent AYUSH ward in every district hospital.
