7 lakh youth vaccinated in 15 days A total of 1.5 crore vaccination doses so far
Despite the lack of covid19 vaccine in Rajasthan, from May 1, the state quota has reached the top position in the vaccination being done in the age group of 18 to 44 years on Saturday.
Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma said that 1 lakh 40 thousand 207 people were vaccinated in Rajasthan on Saturday. In this, 1 lakh 3 thousand 793 vaccines were given to the youth between 18 and 44 years. The total number of vaccinations in the age group of 18 to 44 years has reached 7 lakh 24 thousand 570 in the state. According to the data till 4 pm of the COWIN portal, Maharashtra ranks second in this age group. Gujarat is at number three and Uttar Pradesh at fourth.
Dr. Sharma said that under the ongoing vaccination for the last 4 months, 1.5 crore doses have been given so far. Rajasthan is second only to Maharashtra in total vaccination. In the total vaccination, 1 crore 50 lakh 3 thousand 347 vaccine doses had been applied till Saturday evening in the state.
