Delhi government announces to shut down the OPD services in Lok Nayak Hospital (LNJP) and Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital (GB Pant Hospital) .However, the medical emergency services at both these hospitals will continue to operate. According to the Delhi government official the order will come into effect from Saturday, April 4.
Earlier, the Delhi government along with Health & Family Welfare Department announced that the doctors working in these hospitals for treating COVID patients will be provided accommodation at nearby hotel and the payment for which will be done by the government.
According to the order, the medical emergency of LNJP will continue from the ground floor of the general emergency of the casualty block. It said G.B. Pant hospital will continue to provide emergency services to neurology as well as cardiology patients and will manage the Cardio and Neuro emergency patients referred from LNJP.

Today, as reported by ANI Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Kumar Jain, said, ‘Corona is still in Stage 2 in the country and Delhi. A total of 295 cases of corona have been reported in Delhi. There was an increase of 141 cases yesterday, of which 12 cases were from Delhi and 129 cases were from Markaz.
