Bisnauli Sarvodaya Gramodyog Seva Sansthan (BSGSS) organized a free health camp for anaemia and diabetes patients in Khoda Colony, Ghaziabad.
The camp was organized under the aegis of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. BSGSS CEO Nandita Bakshi told Healthlive more than 200 patients were screened in this free camp by a team of specialist doctors and technicians.
Blood tests were also carried out at the camp to detect anaemia and diabetes patients. Also, free medicines and cloth face masks were distributed to all the patients visited the camp.
Meanwhile, BSGSS also inaugurated a free community health center named ‘Jan Arogyam’ in Prem Vihar of Khoda Colony under which free health services will be provided to the local people.
To address diseases like anemia and diabetes, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited has built this health center as part of its CSR initiative which will be operated by the Bisnauli Sarvodaya Gramodyog Seva Sansthan in the area.
In the program, BPCL North Chief General Manager L.K. Watts was the Chief Guest and Narendra Kumar Gupta, Chief Medical Officer, Ghaziabad as a distinguished guest. Significantly, the camp was organized following the strict security protocol of COVID19.
Notably, BSGSS is operated by Vijay Kumar Jha, Chief Conservator and Nandita Bakshi, CEO. Who served the Government of India for long years before doing social work on a full-time basis. On this occasion, Rajneesh Verma, DGM, BPCL team, BSGSS team, BV Ghokhale, Rajesh Kashyap and many eminent persons were also present.
Ms.Bakshi highlighted that corona pandemic is double challenge to close the gap for health services in such areas like Khoda. We are committed to serve the citizens and to provide the best health services for healthcare.
