The National President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J.P.Nadda tested positive of novel coronavirus on Sunday.

Nadda informed about the same through social media platform on Twitter account and said “On getting the initial symptoms of corona, I got the test done and the report came back positive,” “My health is fine, following all the guidelines in home isolation on the advice of doctors,” he further added.

The BJP chief had been maintaining an active schedule and had visited states such as Uttarakhand and West Bengal recently.

The BJP president also asked everyone who has come in contact with him in the past few days to get tested.

“I request everyone who got in touch with me in the last few days to isolate themselves and undergo test,” he said.

Many people including cabinet ministers and state leaders wished the senior BJP leader a speedy recovery on Twitter platform.
