In another video, Ramdev says that after applying both doses of the vaccine, more than a thousand doctors died, they could not even save themselves. Against this, the AIIMS Resident Doctor Association demonstrated today. Dr. Amandeep Singh, President of AIIMS RDA, who is leading the protest, said that the doctors and all other medical staff who died due to Corona are among the martyrs. Ramdev has insulted the martyrs by making such a statement.
Speaking on the issue, Senoir doctor, Advisor Ex-officio RDA AIIMS Dr.Rajeev Ranjan said “world is moving towards evidence based medicine. In this covid pandemic we worked tirelessly to save lives of our patients, India knows the effort done by allopathy doctors to leading the battle against COVID-19 from the front. Dr. Amandeep Singh further said, ‘Health care workers’ morale is decreasing due to Ramdev’s statement, India’s image is deteriorating in the world. Ramdev should apologize immediately for these statements. If he does not do so, the performance will continue. They say that the government should arrest them as soon as possible. An open letter has been written to Swami Ramdev on behalf of AIIMS RDA. The letter also answers some of the questions asked by Swami Ramdev from allopathy doctors.
