Union Minister of State for Ayush Shripad Yesso Naik said cancer can be cured by yoga techniques.
The government will come out with a scientific proof on this treatment in a year said minister Naik at the inauguration ceremony of AYUSH expo by Central ministry near Panaji on Saturday.
Further minister added “The Bengaluru-based Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana institute, where many people told us they have been cured of cancer by regular practice of yoga.
As the Bengaluru based university submits the documents, we will research it. The Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, a deemed university headed by H. R. Narendra, has found a technique of yoga for the prevention and cure of cancer.
He is mechanical engineer who has worked as a post-doctoral research associate at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in 1970 and subsequently had a stint at Harvard University.
AYUSH ministry to examine the documentation submitted by the Samsthana related to cancer cure, will take a time period of a year said, Naik.
