Amit Shah, Union Home Minister tested positive for coronavirus infection and has been admitted to a hospital on Sunday.

Shah inform about his infection today on social media platform ‘Twitter’

 “I have tested positive but my health is fine,” he added that he has been hospitalised on the advice of doctors. The Union Home Minister also appealed to those who came into close contact with him in the last few days to get themselves tested for COVID-19.

“I request those who came in contact with me in last few days to get tested for coronavirus and isolate themselves,” he wrote in a message on Twitter. 

Mr. shah admitted to Gurugram situated Medanta Hospital this evening. Miinister for Law & Justice, Communications Electronic and Information Technology Shri Ravi Shnakar Prasd wish Shah a speedy recovery on his Twitter message.

The country logged more than 17-lakh cases of coronavirus today — adding 1 lakh patients to the tally in just two days. Over the last 24 hours, 54,735 cases of the disease were reported, data from the Union health ministry showed.
