The deadly coronavirus again attacked the renowned health worker in the national capital. Dr. Rajeev Sood, dean of Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital and a famous urologist, has been found to be corona positive. Dr. Rajiv Sood is currently taking medicines while staying in home isolation. The hospital administration says he has mild symptoms of the corona.

According to the information received, those coming in contact with Rajiv Sood are being identified. It is being ascertained how many hospital staff and other people were in contact with him.

As of now, it is not confirmed how he got infected, but it might be in direct contact with any patient or through hospital staff,” as said by Dr.Sood.

Earlier, in this week a famous pulmonologist Dr. Jitendra Nath Pandey, former head of the Department of Medicine, AIIMS, died of the corona. He was 79. After being corona, he was in a home isolation at home in Siddharth Nagar Enclave. He died at home on Friday night. His 75-year-old wife is also infected with Corona. Because of this, she has been admitted to the private ward of AIIMS for treatment. She is being treated under the supervision of senior doctors. Her condition is said to be stable.
