The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee presented the National Florence Nightingale Awards to nursing personnel today on the occasion of International Nurses Day at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The most prominent award was also presented to senior nursing officer Ms.Harvinder Kaur of Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, New Delhi.
Kaur is known for her dedication towards the nursing fraternity. She hosted various activities for healthcare organised by hospital. On receiving the award in a chat with Healthlive Kaur said “I extend my sincere thanks to our Medical Superintendent & Director ADG Dr. A.K. Gadpayle and staff of RML hospital to encourage and always inspire me to do well in my profession.
