50 hours of continuous dharna (protest) held by health employees of the government under the banner of India Health Employees &Workers Confederation at RML, against the recommendations of 7th CPC.
Today is the second day of protest and until there was no any response from government.
Around 80 representatives across the country participated in the protest including 11 thousand employees of RML.
Mukesh Sharma, spokeperson of the federation told Health Live “We have given notices to the different ministries of government including Health and labour ministry.
Further Sharma said we are postponing our strike as code of conduct started due to elections in different states but this protest will continue.
There are around 2.5 lac of health sector employees are supporting this protest.
Com.Santosh Roy, Secretary, AICCTU, the central trade union said that government is not taking our demands seriously..
After 30hours of protest there is no any response by government.
While addressing meeting Ram Kishan, of federation said , Government always ready to talk businesspersons, capitalist but continuously ignoring health workers.
Representative from UP, Haryana, Tamilnadu, Punjab, Rajasthan and many other states march delhi to join the dharna.
Tomorrow the dharna will concluded by a rally in Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital as official said.
